iTunes scoops Mister Elton John catalogue exclusive
Mister Elton John today revealed intends to make his entire catalogue of releases available solely through iTunes beginning in a few days.
The whole catalogue of 400 tracks is going to be provided with the store beginning 26 March, his artist management agents described. The background music is going to be available solely there until 30 April, when it will likely be provided through other music services.
The artist described: “I have wanted my music to be shown for digital download worldwide for a while, however i understood the entire catalogue not only the hits needed attention and care to become launched in this manner. Since it’s happening, I am pleased for that fans’ sake. The earth has certainly altered since Philips Records released my first single on seven-inch vinyl 39 years back this month.”
Although some albums happen to be available through iTunes, the artist will redesign 30 albums available on the web.
The move coincides using the global release in physical and digital formats of the new, 18-track selection of his work, Rocket Man The Definitive Hits, from Universal’s Mercury Records imprint.
An array of Mister Elton’s greatest hits may also be provided as mobile-phone realtones the very first time, while an array of his videos may also be provided online.
Mister Elton celebrates his 60th birthday a few days ago having a concert performance at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
